Poi Dog Pondering got their start in Hawaii and then moved to Austin, TX where they recorded their album Wishing Like a Mountain, Thinking Like the Sea which features their song Thanksgiving. Now they’re based out of Chicago, still playing and recording tunes.

Maybe you do a Friendsgiving gathering. This classic song from Big Star is a wonderful celebration of friends, love it.

 

The Thanksgiving Filter – Drive-by Truckers

Southern rockers, The Drive-by Truckers released their homage to Thanksgiving in 2011. Their song The Thanksgiving Filter was released on a special Record Store Day single and then later on the album Go-Go Boots.
